Eggs sold at Publix may be contaminated with Salmonella, part of nationwide recall

(WTXL) - Eggs sold at Publix locations in Florida are now included in a massive recall impacting more than 200 million eggs.

18 packs of extra large eggs sold at Public stores in Florida, Indiana, and North Carolina are being voluntarily recalled due to Salmonella concerns. 

The recall is limited to the information below:

• Product name: Publix Grade A Extra Large Eggs 18pk
• Package UPC code: 41415 00966
• Package lot codes: P1359D 048A, P1359D 049A 
• Best before date: Apr 02 2018, Apr 03 2018

Consumers who may have purchased the product listed above should not consume it and return the product to their local store for a full refund.
