ECHOLS COUNTY, Ga (WTXL)-- According to the Echols County Sheriff's Office deputies have arrested George Zayas, and charged him with felony possession of substances with intent to manufacture methamphetamine, felony possession of methamphetamine and felony possession of tools used in the commission of a crime.
The sheriff's office responded to the 400 block of highway 376 Thursday night in reference to a possible meth lab. Upon arrival deputies discovered a room attached to a shed containing all of the components used in manufacturing methamphetamine. Deputies met with the owner of the residence, George Zayas, who was questioned and then charged. Additional arrest could be made pending the outcome of the investigation.
