Ebola Monitoring in Florida

TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (WTXL) - Florida governor Rick Scott is ordering twice daily monitoring for anyone returning from places the U.S. centers for disease control and prevention designates as affected by Ebola.

Scott signed the order this weekend, giving the Florida Health Department authority to monitor individuals for 21 days. The governor said in a statement that the health department has already used a CDC web program to identify four individuals who returned to Florida after traveling to areas with Ebola.
