TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--A Tallahassee restaurant is helping those impacted by hurricanes.

The manager says originally, Eat for Relief, was a charity event for Harvey. However, when they found out about Irma, the event became more focused on overall hurricane relief efforts with the American Red Cross.

The Tallahassee Police Department is a sponsor of the event that is from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Crime-fighting K9 Copper will be there to greet the public.

All you have to do is stop by and eat lunch or dinner. The proceeds go to the Red Cross.
