TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - With still two weeks until election day, people are voting early in staggering numbers.
By this day in the last midterms four years ago, 1.9 million people had cast their ballot.
This year, more than 7 million people have voted.
About 1.1 million people have already voted in the state of Florida, with two crucial races at stake.
The first is between Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum and Congressman Ron Desantis for Florida governor.
The second has Governor Rick Scott versus Bill Nelson, who is seeking re-election for the U.S. Senate.
