TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Officials say crews worked until sunrise to extinguish a fire that destroyed a home on Old Bainbridge Road early Tuesday morning.
The Tallahassee Fire Department says that crews were called to a home in the 3000 block of Old Bainbridge Road around 3:09 a.m. Tuesday morning.
When they arrived about seven minutes later, crews found a smoking home with flames coming from the roof. Officials say crews worked until sunrise extinguishing the fire.
Thankfully the home was vacant at the time, so no one was injured.
TFD says the home is a total loss valued at about $200,000.
