TALLAHASSEE, Fla., (WTXL) - One person is dead and two others are hurt after an early morning accident in Leon County.
Florida Highway Patrol says a semi headed East on Interstate 10 near mile marker 12, lost control and went over the median into oncoming traffic, hitting a pick up truck.
Kimberly Kay Palmer of Punta Gorda was taken to the hospital and died from her injuries.
The driver, Duane Palmer was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
And the driver of the semi-truck suffered only minor injuries.
Charges are pending.
