TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department says they are hosting a DUI checkpoint on Tallahassee's Southside Thursday night.
TPD officers will be hosting a safety and sobriety checkpoint in the 400 block of West Orange Avenue.
The checkpoint will run from 11:30 p.m. to 3 a.m. and will be well marked by signage, marked patrol vehicles, and uniformed officers.
They say the operation is designed to have a minimal impact on traffic flow and to save lives.
Law enforcement has a legal obligation to publish this information prior to the check point taking place.
