Pinetta,Fla. (WTXL)--Madison County Sheriff Deputy Dowdy was working on a grand theft case on Thursday June 13 in Pinetta,Fl and it was that investigation that led him to the 5000 block ofNorth East Bellville Road where he discovered illegal potted plants.
As soon as the Deputy seen the marijuana plants he called for assistance from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force to home of Cody A. Cooper.
The Drug Task Force seen a large number of black pots and potting soil with the pots containing marijuana and a total of 66 marijuana plants were taken in as evidence these plants were found on the porch and in the yard of the of Coopers Pinetta residence.
Cooper has been charged with cultivation of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia as well Grand Theft and Fraud.
