PINELLAS PARK, Fla. (AP) — Two drivers have been cited after a school bus crash in Pinellas Park.
Pinellas Park police say in a statement that the crash happened Thursday morning.
Police say a car had stopped for another vehicle that had made a U-turn. That car was then hit from behind by an SUV, and the SUV was struck from behind by the school bus.
The bus was carrying 12 elementary school children at the time. No one was hurt.
Police say the bus driver, Lorraine Wilson of Seminole, and the driver of the SUV, Christopher Flynn, of Anniston, Alabama, were cited for careless driving.
