LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Authorities say a science fiction convention co-founder has been returned to Georgia to face child molestation charges.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (http://bit.ly/XReMqu ) that 51-year-old Edward Eliot Kramer of Duluth was booked into jail Saturday. The DragonCon founder was returned to Gwinnett County from Connecticut, where he was arrested last fall for violating his bond conditions.
Kramer was charged with molestation in Gwinnett County in 2000, but was declared unfit to stand trial because of a spinal condition.
He was put on house arrest and ordered to have no contact with children under 16. Kramer was given permission to travel in 2008 and was found in 2011 in a Connecticut motel room with a 14-year-old boy in September.
Jail records show Kramer was being held Monday without bond.
