TIFTON, Ga. (WTXL) - The Cat and The Hat will be coming to Tifton.
Twenty kids between 7 and 17-years-old have been rehearsing for the musical 'Seussical Jr.'
It features 14 Dr. Seuss books in one musical.
The cat from The Cat and the Hat narrates the performance.
Young actors have been learning about acting and rehearsing lines in camp for the past three weeks.
Performance Director Carlie Shoniker said she's enjoyed working the past two summers with the kid's camp.
"Doing this musical with this awesome group of kids, is especially meaningful to me this year because I am actually going to be moving in the next week.
So this is my last show here at the theater," Shoniker said.
The Tift Theatre musical opens Thursday at 7 and will run all weekend long.
