VALDOSTA, GA. (WTXL) - With Super Tuesday fast approaching, Presidential Candidates are making last minutes stops along the campaign trail. On Monday Republican front runner Donald Trump will be in South Georgia.

The Presidential campaign trail has been filled with controversy and heated debates. Trump, Real Estate mogul and former reality TV star, has taken center stage, despite what some call, his abrasive and non-apologetic comments.

According to State Director Brandon Phillips for Donald Trump's Georgia campaign, "It's very simple, we call it the silent majority. He is the microphone for the silent majority. he is saying what's on peoples minds. Very simple it's a movement and he is the voice of the movement."

The City of Valdosta is gearing up for the Presidential Candidate as he makes his way through south Georgia. Love him or hate him, he is one of the most polarizing candidates this election.

Valdosta State University student Jacob Mahan says, "I think it's cool he is coming to not only the big universities but a small university like us. It definitely shows he is trying to appeal to everyone."

According to VSU sophomore Julia Rodriquez, "I don't think he is very popular. I've never seen a supporter in person and I honestly don't want to meet one."

Phillips says, Trump is the only candidate bringing his message to South Georgia voters, "Just to have him in Georgia the eve of Super Tuesday shows how important Georgia is to the entire process. We're the 5th largest delegate state towards the nomination."

Trump is set to take the stage at 6:00 o'clock Monday evening at the P.E. Complex on Valdosta State University. Doors open at 4:p.m.
