TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL)- Think you have a great startup idea? Domi Station in Tallahassee is hoping to help you make it a reality.

The business incubator is taking applications for their Get Started program.

Through the two-month program, entrepreneurs will learn about customer discovery and market validation.

Those who make it through the program will then compete for entry into Domi Station's intensive incubator program.

Additionally, a panel of judges will award $5,000 to the startup that makes the most progress and shows the most potential to turn into a sustainable business.

Domi Station says they hope the program will help continue to foster a tech environment in Tallahassee.

"It really helps retain tech talent in Tallahassee. So a lot of the technology businesses here have had a hard time finding and retaining talent for their businesses. So they're looking to grow but they cannot find people," Domi Station's Executive Director Christine Urban said. Urban added "It's not just about the businesses that come out of here but it's also about creating a technology community and then being able to keep people here, smart people here in Tallahassee."

Applications for entrants are due by August 15. Click here to learn more.
