TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Tuesday night was the first of many informational meetings to be hosted by the Domi Station.
The reason for the meeting is the Domi Station believes that some people in the community don't know who they are or what they do.
At Tuesday night's meeting the station discussed what those in attendance would like to see in the future of their community, which involves showing the community different startups and groups that the community can take advantage of that they may not have known about before.
"We want to learn what the needs of the community are and how can we address them and help them," said Sabrina Torres. "The objective is that each time that we meet, the community learns something new about stuff that they can take advantage of as a resource that is available to them."
The next meeting is partnered with sustainable Tallahassee and will be in April.
