HOLLY HILL, Fla. (AP) - Officials say two dogs were killed in a central Florida house fire.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports that Volusia County firefighters responded to the Holly Hill home Thursday morning.
Fire battalion Cmdr. Mark Edgil says the property is likely a total loss, with heat from the blaze causing windows to break at nearby homes. The human residents weren't injured.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
