Dog killed in Thomasville

THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL)--Police are hoping to find a person who's suspected of killing a Thomasville woman's dog.

Thomasville Police Department Maj. Eric Hampton says a woman came home Friday and found one of her five dogs dead.

Police say it appears someone used a sharp object to cut the dog's throat. It happened at a home on Clay Street.

Maj. Hampton says they want to bring the person who did this to justice.
