TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A dog believed to be the victim of dog fighting in South Georgia has recovered and has been adopted.
Meet Domino. If you remember him, he's a much happier and healthier dog than when we introduced you to him before.
Liza Rhoden was instrumental in helping Domino get back on his feet. She worked at Carolina Vet Care Specialists in Matthews, North Carolina which treated the dog.
She said that her sister adopted him.
The Bainbridge-Decatur County Humane Society said that Domino was picked up on Sept. 20 in Climax by animal control with wounds from bites.
The dog was flown by Pilots N Pets to North Carolina to be treated. No arrests have been made in the case.
