TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Three have been sent to the hospital after a driver distracted by an electronic device failed to stop, causing a three car collision.
The Florida Highway Patrol said that on Wednesday morning, two cars, the one in the front carrying one passenger while the other behind it had three, were stopped on U.S. 27 at the red light intersection of South Calhoun Street.
They said that John Williams, 30, was driving towards the light when he was distracted by an electronic device and failed to stop, crashing into the back of the car with three passengers.
That car then hit the car in front of it as a result.
A total of three people were transported by ambulance to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.
