TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - It was opening weekend for Florida State baseball, and for the first time, fans had the option to purchase beer from inside the stands.
The FSU Athletics Department says over 2,000 cans of beer were sold over the three games this weekend. The university also reported no issues related to beer sales. FSU Police says they had no alcohol related incidents either.
The athletics department, as well as Aramark, the university's vendor, say they're pleased with the success of opening weekend and plan to closely monitor the process.
