CECIL, Ga. (WTXL) - New details are being revealed in the death of Winfred Hardrick, whose body was found in Cook County two days ago.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation confirms that a neighborhood gardener found Hardrick, 66, inside an abandoned car on Lawson Lane in Cecil.
Investigators say there were no external injuries to his body, and will be able to rule out foul play once the autopsy results come back.
Earlier this year, Hardrick was reported missing after walking away from his home and was later found safe.
Officials said he had medical issues, and investigators said there is no need for community members to worry at this point in time.
