TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - The Leon County Sheriffs Office held a candlelight vigil Monday night for Deputy Chris Smith, who was killed in the line of duty Saturday.
The vigil was held at FSU's Dick Howser Baseball Stadium. The vigil included speakers, candle lighting, and prayer.
Lieutenant James McQuaig spoke to the packed stadium, thanking the community for their continued support. Other speakers included representatives from Tallahassee Police, FSU Police, as well as first responders.
