GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office is warning residents about a debris pickup scam going around.
GCSO said the contractor promises to remove debris and clean up immediately, if you pay cash up-front.
GCSO stated do not sign anything with any debris company. The county has contracted a debris company to pick debris up in the county, but not on private property.
GCSO told residents to not sign a right of entry to anyone to gain access to their private property because the county is not responsible for payment.
