TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Leon County Sheriff's Office is warning residents of a cell phone issue in regards to calling the 911 system.
Currently, certain cellular networks are experiencing problems calling landline phones, and this includes the 911 system.
Once callers dial 911- it sounds like the call is not connected,however, it is connecting and an operator is being notified of the incoming call.
The 911 system is functioning properly and if you do dial 911, deputies are asking you to stay on the line and do not hang up.
