TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee man has been arrested, accused of offering a ride to a 14-year-old victim and taking her to his home to molest her.
Eugenio Juarez, 41, was arrested and charged with child molestation.
According to an complaint document, the incident happened on May 30. The victim told deputies that she near the Circle K gas station at 3437 Crawfordville Road when Juarez walked up to her.
He asked if she wanted a ride to his house and the victim agreed. They then walked to his blue van and made their way to his home.
Documents say that on the way there, Juarez asked how old she was, to which she responded she was 14.
When they arrived at his home, Juarez came up behind the victim and began touching her in a sexual manner. When Juarez kept assaulting her, the victim stopped Juarez and walked away from his home.
Once the victim got home, she told her family what happened and a report was filed.
Through an investigation, police discovered security video footage from the Circle K that showed Juarez talking to the victim before leaving the area.
Based on the evidence, a warrant was issued for Juarez's arrest. He was arrested at his home on June 9 and transported to jail on a $15,000 bond.
