TAYLOR COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Residents are being reminded to report suspicious activity immediately after deputies received reports of a suspicious van circling the Taylor County Sports Complex.

The Taylor County Sheriff's Office says that Tuesday evening, a citizen reports that an older white van had been circling the parking lot of the Taylor County Sports Complex.

The complex is in the 1600 block of North U.S. 19.

They say the van's occupants, two Hispanic men, appeared to be watching children in the Perry sports complex, but never got out of the van.

The caller told deputies that the van had already left the area and they didn't know which way it went. Deputies responded to the area, but were not about to find the van.

TCSO says they will continue to patrol the area in the evenings to make sure people at the facility are safe.

Residents are asked to report any suspicious activity as soon as possible. If you see something, call the Taylor County Sheriff's Office at 850-584-2429.
