CALHOUN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Liberty County Sheriff's Office is currently searching for a man who stole over $1,000 worth of business checks.
The Sheriff's Office says that they are looking for James Michael Hathaway.
They say he stole over $1000 in business checks.
Police tried apprehending Hathaway at his home on Thursday, but he got away. They are continuing to search for him near where he lives, which is south of Blountstown.
They believe he is working with an accomplice.
