WAKULLA Co. (WTXL) - The Wakulla County Sheriff's Office has captured the inmate that escaped Friday morning.
Dustin Keith Swain, a 29 year-old male, was captured around 3:30 p.m. Friday after deputies received a tip according to the Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say Swain was found on Dan Miller Road near Crawfordville while investigators were looking into a burglary in the area.
Swain was taken back to the Wakulla County Jail where he faces one count of escape and at least one count of burglary.
Swain escaped around 9 a.m. Friday morning after he scaled the fence of a recreation yard.
According to the Sheriff's Office, Swain is a non-violent offender who was being held for violation of probation charge related to a previous burglary.
A helicopter from the Leon County Sheriff's Office as well as tracking dogs from the Wakulla Correctional Institution were used in the search.
