TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Deputies have revealed more details in a shooting on I-10 Westbound at Baum Road that sent one victim to the hospital.
Lt. Grady Jordan with the Leon County Sheriff's Office said that a group that contracts with the Department of Transportation was out around that area picking up trash when a worker found a gun in a ditch.
When picked up, the gun fired, hitting one person.
911 was called and the victim was transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Deputies said that the victim is in stable condition.
Deputies still cannot confirm who shot the gun or who was shot.
