FRANKLIN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Two men were arrested after they broke into storage units and tried to sell the stolen items for meth.

Robert Williamson and Lance Segree were taken into custody by the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.

Segree and Williamson traveled on bicycles to storage units as well as homes searching for possible targets to burglarize. FCSO said they slept at the storage units and continued to take stolen items to others in an attempt to sell them for profit.

Segree is being charged with grand theft over $300 but less than $5,000 and dealing in stolen property. He also faces additional theft charges around the Eastpoint area, resulting in damage of property, criminal mischief, and burglary of unoccupied structure.

Williamson faces charges of burglary of a structure conveyance, burglary tools-possession with intent to use, and criminal mischief on St. George Island.

FCSO stated the crimes were most likely the result of meth use and to keep the habit going.

Additional arrests are possible.
