FRANKLIN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Deputies are looking for a man who is scamming local businesses and residents out of food and money.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is telling residents to be on the lookout for Willie Greer, last seen driving a 2009 blue Dodge Durango, with a Mississippi license plate of WNS280.

Greer does not have a valid driver's license and was also seen hanging around 1st Street in Eastpoint.

FCSO said Greer and an unidentified white woman have been scamming local businesses and residents of the county for food and money.

He is telling a story of his family being attacked by several men, robbed at gunpoint and that they took his wallet. FCSO said this is a scam.

He was later overheard telling another person that he was a pastor and had a beautiful family and all is well. Following this occurrence, another story involving a pastor named Willie being robbed at gunpoint in Apalachicola surfaced as well.

FCSO said they have not received any calls concerning a robbery of this type.

If you have information concerning the whereabouts of Greer and his partner in crime, please call the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 670-8500.
