WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Wakulla County deputies say all main highways are clear for traffic.

The Wakulla County Sheriff's Office shared a post letting residents know that it's "clean up time around Wakulla."

The office wrote that though there are still large areas with power outages throughout the county, both Talquin Electric and Duke Energy are working to restore power.

"We know it is frustrating to go prolonged periods of time without power but please be patient they are working as quick as they can to get those kilowatts flowing again," deputies wrote.

They say they have not received any new reports of road blockage or obstructions, and all main highways are clear for traffic. They also note that the water has returned and no surge is present.

Deputies are reminding citizens to be safe and keep up with them for updates. They are also asking residents to call them at 850-926-0800 if you see any downed trees or power lines.
