TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Investigators have identified the person who died after a two car crash.
Leon County Sheriff's Office said Haroon Tariq, 23, was driving westbound around 6 a.m. Tuesday morning near the intersection of Blountstown Hwy and Geddie Road. A pick up truck traveling eastbound on the highway attempted to turn onto Geddie Road in front of Tariq, causing a collision.
Deputies said Tariq was pronounced dead at the hospital. The driver of the pick up is at the hospital in critical condition. The investigation is ongoing.
