GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The two infants stabbed by their Gadsden County mother are recovering well.
In April, 33-year-old Carolyn Brown was charged with stabbing her two infant sons.
Both suffered life threatening injuries to their faces and bodies.
The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office says they're recovering and in the care of another family.
The deputies who arrived on scene that day say, they are glad the two infants are safe and doing better.
"Being able to help children is a wonderful thing," said GCSO Deputy Samuel McCary. "I'm sorry they went through that they went through, I'm just glad we got to help them to survive."
The Florida State Attorney's Office says Carolyn Brown is not behind bars, but being medically treated at an undisclosed facility.
