BROOKSVILLE, Fla. (WTSP) -- A Florida woman is accused of literally living up to the saying, "make yourself at home."
Deputies say 32-year-old Tina Wood broke into a couple's home, took a shower and later admitted to having a beer.
When Leah Stagebury returned to her Sharon Street home around 5 p.m. Monday, she found Wood taking a shower, according to an arrest affidavit from the Hernando County Sheriff's Office. She asked why she was there and received no response.
Stagebury ran outside to call the sheriff's office for help.
The responding deputies caught up with Wood not long thereafter in a neighbor's yard. Wood admitted to breaking into the house and being very tired -- not having any sleep for the past four days, the affidavit reads.
She also admitted to having a beer in the family's living room.
Wood is charged with burglary and booked on a $5,000 bond.
