MADISON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Madison County deputies have arrested a 12-time convicted felon after they searched his home and found illegal drugs, two stolen guns, and bullet rounds.
The Madison County Sheriff's Office S.E.R.T. team had already been investigating James Hills Sr. for selling drugs and said that they searched his home on Southwest Lee Avenue on Tuesday.
During the search, investigators said they found a stolen shotgun, a stolen handgun, crack, weed, codeine, and bullet rounds.
Hills faces charges relating to the stolen guns and the sale and possession of illegal drugs.
They said that he is a multi-state offender and 12-time convicted felon in the State of Florida and that his criminal history dates back to 1980.
