TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Friday, deputies and officers participated in a caffeinated community outreach event.
The Leon County Sheriff's Office and the Tallahassee Police Department invited Capitol City locals to have "Coffee with a Cop" as a part of a national event that's meant to build trust between local law enforcement and the public in a neutral, non-threatening environment.
Officers from the TPD were not the only ones participating, as the Valdosta Police Department is gearing up to host their own outreach event called, "Shop with a Cop" in December.
