BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL)--The Decatur County Sheriff's Office is investigating vandalism at a church cemetery over the weekend, when a truck drove through the graveyard.
Investigators believe it happened Saturday evening.
They say the truck drove over graves and damaged stones at Salem Independent Baptist Church. Parts of the truck fell off on the scene.
Investigators collected the parts and with the evidence found the truck involved and were able to bring a suspect in for questioning late Tuesday morning.
The investigation is still ongoing and charges are pending, but we will keep you updated.
