BAKER COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - Officials in Baker County said the death investigation for William Bailey, who was found dead in his home on Friday evening, is still ongoing.
Baker County Sheriff's Office investigators said they got the call from a neighbor in the Parker Mobile Homes on Friday around 4:52 p.m.
The neighbor called and said they saw Bailey's dog in the window barking constantly and he hadn't been out in days.
Investigators said they immediately arrived to the scene and found William's decomposed body.
Officials stated although they are not sure if this was a homicide, they began to investigate the case as if it was, like many cases after someone has died.
Now investigators did say there is no reason to suspect foul play. Right now, officials are still waiting on the medical examination reports for final conclusions.
