HAMILTON CO., FL (WTXL) - Troopers say alcohol could be to blame for a deadly crash in Hamilton county that put an 8-year-old boy in critical condition.
The Florida Highway Patrol says Jessica Leach was headed west on County Road 158 near 249 when she was t-boned by another car and hit a utility poll.
Leach was pronounced dead on the scene, according to troopers. They say she was not wearing a seat belt.
As of Monday, her 7-year-old passenger is still in critical condition.
