(WTXL) - The deadly flu epidemic has claimed more lives.
The latest two victims are a 3-year-old girl and an elementary school teacher who refused to pay for Tamiflu.
Unfortunately, in both situations, there are questions about if their deaths could have been prevented.
The Indiana family is now second guessing their choice not to give their 3-year-old a flu shot.
In Texas, an elementary school teacher, wife and mother of two, died Sunday after complications from the flu.
Her family tells ABC News they could afford Tamiflu, but she refused to pay more than $115.
One company that tracks drug prices says right now the average price for Tamiflu brand is $175 and it's $135 for the generic.
Experts say if you cannot afford anti-viral medication, you can call around to pharmacies to ask for the best price or use apps like Good Rx that offer discounts and coupons.
