TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL) - The deadline is extended for applications to be on the City of Tallahassee's Ethics Board.
The deadline, which was November 20th, has been pushed to December 28th at 5 p-m. The Board needs to fill a vacancy following the resignation of Lila Jaber. The selected candidate will serve the remainder of the vacated seat's term, which expires on December 31, 2017.
The first Ethics Board meeting of the new year is scheduled for January 19th. The city hopes to have the new member in place by that meeting.
