GRACEVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say four people are dead following a crash near Graceville in the Florida Panhandle.

The Florida Highway Patrol says the crash happened when 54-year-old George Henry Hayes drove his pickup truck through a stop sign on Saturday night on State Road 77 in Jackson County. A pickup truck driven by 57-year-old Larry Collins hit Hayes' truck.

The News Herald of Panama City (http://bit.ly/1LartGQ ) reports both vehicles overturned and caught fire.

Hayes and two of his passengers — 22-year-old Bishop Peterson and 45-year-old Angela Peterson Spencer — died. Fifty-five-year-old Sandra Collins, who was a passenger in the other pickup truck, also died.

Larry Collins and a 6-year-old passenger in Hayes' truck were taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Troopers are investigating.
