GREEN BAY, WI (RNN) - Officials evacuated a high school Thursday when someone reported that a masked person came in through a back entrance. Turns out, it was just a Star Wars fan.
Students returned to classes at Ashwaubenon High School soon after the 7:30 a.m. CT evacuation. The person in question wore a Darth Vader mask and costume.
"A passerby saw a person wearing a plastic mask, what he perceived to be a ballistic-type vest and carrying a backpack and bag enter the Ashwaubenon High School," said the public safety department on Facebook.
The student, a juvenile who was not identified, was questioned. The costume was worn in celebration of "May the Fourth be with you," also known as Star Wars Day.
Their was no actual threat at the high school a student came to school wearing a Star Wars costume with a mask.

People on campus were taken to the middle school and a nearby church. They were briefly put on lockdown, as was a community center in the area.
The city's public safety department praised the person who reported it, despite it turning out to be a misunderstanding.
"The saying, 'If you see something, say something' certainly applies to this and we always encourage people to report suspicious activity," the department stated.
