TALLAHASSEE, Fla.-- Groups and organizations are gearing up for the first ever Dare to Dream MLK Festival in Tallahassee.
The event will commemorate the life of civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. It will take place on Monday, January 21, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., and it will be held at Klemen Plaza in downtown Tallahassee. There will be cultural performances, kid’s activities, food, speakers, large screen movie clips, and other themed activities.
The Martin Luther King Jr. Dare to Dream Association, Inc. , the Community Redevelopment Agency, and the Tallahassee Downtown Improvement Association are hosting the event.
