MADISON, Fla. (WTXL) - A chase through Madison and Lowndes County ends with the arrest of two people and more than a pound and a half of Crystal Meth confiscated.
According to the Madison County Sheriff's Office, they were contacted by Lowndes deputies on Wednesday, June 28 around 4 p.m., who say they were involved in a pursuit with Randy Cheatham and Maegan Wright.
Cheatham and Wright eventually crashed behind Cooks and Cooper Funeral Home on MLK Drive in Madison.
Neighbors saw the two run into the woods after the crash.
Cheatham and Wright were both caught and charged with attempting to elude law enforcement and resisting arrest.
