Wakulla deputies arrest two men after short chase

CRAWFORDVILLE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Two Wakulla County men have been arrested after stealing a motorbike, then leading deputies on a short chase.

Lorenzo Larell Randolph, 22, and Reuben Jerome Randolph, 20, both of Crawfordville, were arrested Wednesday in the Wakulla Gardens area of Crawfordville.

Sheriff Charlie Creel says a resident called deputies saying they saw two suspicious men removing a motorbike from a home in the Lake Ellen area in Medart. A deputy spotted the two suspects  a short time later driving a pick up truck. Sheriff Creel says as the deputy went to make a traffic stop, but the driver took off.

At one point, Sheriff Creel says the two men crashed the truck and took off on foot before being arrested.

Both men are being held in the Wakulla County Jail.
