MADISON, Fla. (WTXL) -- Deputies are working to make a second arrest following an afternoon chase spanning several north Florida counties.
Lt. Jeff Frost with the Florida Highway Patrol tells WTXL that a Madison County deputy had stopped a vehicle for speeding. A trooper arrived shortly thereafter to provide back up.
At one point the car took off. Lt. Frost says the chase came to end after the car crashed in Baker County, Florida.
The passenger of the car was arrested, but the driver of the car fled into the woods.
