VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) -- One person has been arrested after allegedly robbing a South Georgia bank.
The unidentified suspect was arrested in Lowndes County Thursday afternoon after allegedly robbing the Heritage Bank in Adel in neighboring Cook County, Georgia.
Lowndes County Sheriff Chris Prine says shortly after the robbery his deputies were alerted when they spotted a vehicle match the description of the get away car. That's when a Lowndes County deputy stopped the car at the 11 mile marker on Interstate 75 and arrested the suspect.
No other information has been released at this time.
