TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Work is getting underway on the next phase of sidewalk projects around the Capital City.
Crews are working along Centerville Road, to connect Goodwood Drive and Blair Stone Road.
This stretch is a Canopy Road, and city officials say they've worked closely with the Canopy Road Citizens Committee to make sure the project was approved.
Workers are also starting the second phase of a sidewalk project along Bradford Road.
Construction is set to last for about four months, with crews on site weekdays from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. On Bradford Road, crews will also be working on the weekend during normal working hours. During those work hours, traffic may be down to one lane.
On Tuesday, Feb. 10, Public Works staff will hold a neighborhood meeting to discuss plans for sidewalk construction along Flipper Street. It's in the library of Bond Elementary School, 2204 Saxon Street, from 5:30 - 7 p.m.
